Teams across the NFL are preparing to ramp up for the 2022 regular season with the start of training camp. The Miami Dolphins are one of the first squads to take the field as the preseason nears.

Here's everything Dolphins fans need to know about training camp this year.

When Does Miami Dolphins Training Camp Start?

Each team has two separate start dates for training camp, as rookies are often required to report a few days before veterans. The Dolphins' training camp is already underway as rookies officially reported on Tuesday, July 19.

Then, on Tuesday, July 26, Miami's veterans are mandated to report for training camp. This gives just two weeks to prepare for the team's first preseason game on Aug. 13.

Dolphins rookies already for training camp on July 19, followed by vets on July 26. Miami will then host practices to get ready for its first preseason game on Aug. 13.

The Dolphins' first preseason game is on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Miami also plays again on Aug. 20 (vs. Las Vegas Raiders) and Aug. 27 (vs. Philadelphia Eagles).

The Dolphins will suit up on Sunday, Sept. 11 versus the New England Patriots in Week 1 of the 2022 campaign.

Dolphins Training Camp News

The Dolphins made plenty of offensive additions this offseason, including the free-agent signing of running back Raheem Mostert. Unfortunately, the 30-year-old veteran has been recovering from a knee injury since Week 1 of the 2021 campaign.

Initial reports said that Mostert should be ready for the regular season, but there haven't been many updates about his training camp status. He did tweet last month that his knee was "close to 100%," so only time will tell if that means he feels good enough to practice next week or if he'll require more time.
