Fresh off a bye week, the Indianapolis Colts will have a divisional battle with the Houston Texans on Sunday. Marlon Mack has been an absolute workhorse for the Colts in 2019, and he should continue to be the focal point for the offense in Week 7. That gives him a strong fantasy football outlook in this matchup.

The last time we saw the Colts they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 19-13 in Week 5. Mack saw a career-high 29 carries in that game, taking them for 132 yards. He also added three catches for another 16 yards through the air.

Week 5 marked the third time Mack hit 20-plus carries in his five games this season. This big workload alone makes him relevant for fantasy, and his yards per carry give his value a nice boost as well.

Mack is averaging 4.7 yards per carry this season, averaging under 3.5 in a game just once. The Texans' defense has been just average against the run, giving up 4.0 yards per carry.

Houston has also played in two high-scoring games in a row, giving up a total of 56 points in those games. They also lost cornerback Bradley Roby to injury last week, making their defense even worse. This should lead to the Colts moving the football down the field, presenting more opportunities for Mack to get a red zone touchdown.

Mack ranks as RB16 in standard scoring this season, also ranking second in the NFL with 20.2 rush attempts per game. We can expect him to continue producing at high rate with that volume, and in a solid spot against the Texans, Mack sits 17th among RBs in our Week 7 PPR fantasy football rankings.
