Madden NFL 20 Team Ratings Show Huge Disparity Compared to NFL Franchise's Projected Win Totals

The full list of Madden NFL 20 player and team ratings were announced on Monday, and plenty of people, including some NFL players, had issues with them for one reason or another. While everyone has a different way of analyzing the ratings, when comparing the team ratings to FanDuel Sportbook's projected win totals, there's surely some disparity.
Obviously there is a difference in how these two numbers are reached by each party (EA Sports and FanDuel Sportsbook), but for the most part, theoretically, there should be relative correlation.
The first one that jumps off the page is the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, who have an over/under win total of 11 games, the highest in the NFL. However, the team's Madden rating is tied for third.

Broncos - 81
Raiders - 80
Lions - 80
Bengals - 80
Jaguars - 79
Jets - 78
Cardinals - 78
Buccaneers - 78
Bills - 78
Giants - 77
Dolphins - 74
The next one that doesn't totally add up is the team that played the Patriots in last season's Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Rams, who own the second highest over/under win total at 10.5 (tied with the Kansas City Chiefs), but the Rams are surprisingly the eighth-ranked team in Madden.
Back to those Chiefs, who own the 12th-best Madden rating, which is an even bigger gap compared to their projected win total.

The Cleveland Browns are another one that stands out. This year's iteration of Cleveland's football team comes in as one of the most hyped in decades, with talent galore on paper. You would think that would make the team's Madden rating higher than its projected win total.
But the Browns are the 17th-ranked team in Madden, with an 83 rating. That's the same as the Washington Redskins, the Tennessee Titans and the Minnesota Vikings. Those teams' over/under win totals are, however, very different. The Browns sit at 9.5 games, tied for the fourth-highest in the NFL, while the Vikings' over/under is 9, the Titans' is 8 and the Redskins are way behind at 6 games.
Clearly, different things are taken into account to reach each of these numbers, but some of these differences are simply too significant to ignore.
