The LSU Tigers had a pretty up-and-down ride throughout the 2020 season. They were off to a slow start, winning just three of their first eight games. However, they ended the season on a two-game winning streak, including a victory over the Florida Gators.

Now, the Tigers will try to bring that late success into the 2021 campaign.

LSU will open their season with a road contest against the UCLA Bruins.

Considering the Bruins went 3-4 in 2020, both teams could use the early momentum that a season-opening victory could bring.

LSU vs UCLA Odds & Spread Week 1 - 2021

The Tigers lost a handful of key players to the 2021 NFL Draft, including wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Terrace Marshall Jr.

There's also still plenty of uncertainty at the quarterback position.

However, LSU is still the slight favorite to beat UCLA in Week 1, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's college football odds. The Bruins will enter the matchup as the 3.5-point underdogs.

UCLA finished the 2020 season with a 3-4 record, ranking No. 19 in the nation with an average of 35.4 points per game but also No. 71 with 30.7 points against per game.

The Tigers could be title contenders with +5000 odds to win the 2021-22 national championship, while UCLA is a dark horse with +10000 odds.
