Kansas City Weather Forecast on Sunday Changes Potential Impact on Chiefs-Bills AFC Championship

Early in the week, the Kansas City weather forecast for the AFC Championship seemed grim, threatening to affect the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills matchup with ice and snow.
As of Sunday morning, things seem to be calming down significantly.
As a "sideline" reporter BY FAR the most important thing is the weather.

Kansas City Weather for Bills-Chiefs on Sunday
AccuWeather is calling for relatively warm temperatures at kickoff now, around 38 degrees at kickoff and only down to 35 degrees by 9 p.m. With temperatures above freezing, ice is no longer an issue, and even precipitation at all doesn't seem overly likely.
Cloudy skies are expected, but the chance of precipitation is just 15% at 6 p.m. and quickly drops to 5% at 7 p.m., where it will hover all night.
This is good news for both offenses, as these two teams want to throw the ball early and often in a potential shootout.
It could also be good news for Patrick Mahomes, whose injury status was updated on Sunday morning. Mahomes is dealing with turf toe, and not having to tough it out through freezing temperatures could make that a little bit more manageable.
