He's been up and down as an effective quarterback, but Josh Allen has been a highly productive fantasy QB since entering the league. Coming off a QB6 finish in 2019, Allen could be poised for an even more productive season in 2020 now that the Buffalo Bills have added Stefon Diggs.

Josh Allen Fantasy Outlook

Allen has a rocket for an arm, and he was one of the league's most aggressive passers last season. He had an average depth of target (aDOT) of 9.3, which was tied for the fifth-best mark in the NFL. Allen also had 68 pass attempts travel at least 20 yards in the air, good for the ninth most.

He only completed 18 of those 68 passes, though, tying him with Derek Carr at No. 20 in the league.

While much of that inefficiency was due to inaccuracy, it's not like he had many WRs that specialized making downfield plays outside of John Brown. With Diggs, who had a 15.1 aDOT last season, in the fold, Allen should finally have another bonafide deep threat. That could dramatically raise his ceiling.

With Diggs, Allen could take a huge step forward as a passer next season. And considering the value he adds with his legs, he's got a legitimate path to finishing as a top-5 fantasy QB in 2020.
