Jalen Reagor Being Disrespected by Odds to Win Offensive Rookie of the Year

In a bit of a surprise, the Philadelphia Eagles selected slot receiver Jalen Reagor with the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The surprise was not necessarily that Reagor was picked in the first round, but that he was picked ahead of players like Justin Jefferson and Brandon Aiyuk.
Despite his draft status and favorable positioning in an offense that can do some serious damage, Reagor's Offensive Rookie of the Year odds are relatively low on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Well Eagles fans, you wanted Wide Receivers...

Jalen Reagor 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds
Reagor is currently tied for 14th in this betting category, with +2800 odds. Players drafted in the late second and early third round like Denzel Mims, Cam Akers and Zack Moss currently have better odds. To be fair, some fellow first round receivers like Jefferson and Aiyuk have either the same or lower odds as Reagor.
If you look at recent NFL seasons, similar height and style rookies as Reagor have had success, like Deebo Samuel in 2019 or even Christian Kirk in 2018. The Eagles also needed a slot receiver desperately, starting Greg Ward Jr. (a former quarterback) in that position most of last year, so Reagor should get plenty of opportunities.
Also, if you consider the talent level around Reagor at TCU, you'll notice he had the odds stacked against him in college with one of the worst accurate pass percentages thrown his way out of the receivers drafted high in the 2020 Draft.

Put Jalen Reagor on LSU, he’s the one with 100 catches. Put Justin Jefferson on TCU, we’re not talking about him. pic.twitter.com/CywcW3Fsjy
None of this has stopped Reagor so far. He is an underdog, and like all great underdogs, the Eagles newest star will try and defy the odds.
