After two dominant victories in their respective conference championships, the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs face off in Super Bowl LIV. Kansas City is currently a 1.5-point favorite in the Super Bowl Odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

If you're looking for an alternative way to wager on this game, here are three players with a chance to score the first touchdown of the game.

First TD Scorer Odds Super Bowl 2020

1. Raheem Mostert, RB, San Francisco 49ers (+650)

Raheem Mostert took the world by storm last week, tallying 220 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries. While it's tough to imagine he'll have a repeat performance in the Super Bowl, the Chiefs haven't exactly been great against the run. Kansas City was the league's fourth-worst run defense in the regular season, per Football Outsiders' rush defense DVOA metrics. With Tevin Coleman's status up in the air and the 49ers likely to take a run-heavy approach, as they've had 89 carries to 27 pass attempts in the postseason, Mostert could punch one in if this San Francisco offense gets rolling early.

2. Damien Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (+600)

Damien Williams has been a touchdown machine in the postseason. In his last four playoff games, Williams has scored an absurd eight touchdowns, including one against the Tennessee Titans last week. The Chiefs are averaging 43.0 points per game (PPG) in the playoffs, so there should be no shortage of scoring opportunities for Williams. If Kansas City is hot in the early going, Williams is the likeliest candidate to close out the drive with a score.

3. Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers (+1300)

With the two lead backs out of the way, let's start looking at some players with longer odds. At +1300 to score first, Deebo Samuel certainly fits the bill. While Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers' passing attack was limited to just eight attempts in the NFC Championship, Samuel still managed to accumulate 46 receiving yards on two receptions, adding another 43 rushing yards on two carries. It's clear the 49ers want to get Samuel involved however they can. Whether it's through the air or on the ground, a player as explosive as Samuel always has the chance to find the end zone, and he's scored two touchdowns over his last four games.

4. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs (+2000)

It's important to note that this would only hit if Patrick Mahomes scores as a runner or a receiver. Of course, it should go without saying that Mahomes is more dangerous with his arm than his legs, but he's proven he can be a threat on the ground as well. Mahomes has rushed for 53 yards in both postseason games thus far, scoring a TD against the Titans on Sunday. That gives Mahomes two rushing touchdowns over his last four games. At +2000 odds, this is certainly a long shot, but Mahomes has proven he can use his legs when needed. He's absolutely a threat to score on the ground in the Super Bowl.
