Eagles Release Thrilling Week 1 Hype Video
By Larry Rupp

The Philadelphia Eagles were one of the most active teams in the NFL offseason. Trades, free agent signings and draft picks have not only created a deeper roster, but they have also created higher expectations. The hype video the Eagles posted on Twitter proves the team is buying in to it all.

Philadelphia Eagles Hype Video
The video starts off with a view of the Philadelphia skyline before it jumps into clips of Eagles fans showing off their gear all over the city. Players like cornerback Darius Slay and defensive lineman Brandon Graham can be heard talking about the "buzz" that can be felt heading into the season.
That's when the background noise stops and center Jason Kelce appears on the screen. He says with authority, "we're going to prove to you that we're the best." The video then dives deep into behind-the-scenes action like player workouts, practice film and highlights from the past few seasons.
Head coach Nick Sirianni mentions the "dawg mentality", which has followed the Eagles for years. These are players that lean on one another to get the job done. That mindset is summed up by one statement from quarterback Jalen Hurts, "the standard has been set. The only direction is to rise."
The Eagles have their first chance to excite the fans in a Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Philadelphia is slated as a 3.5-point road favorite in that one with odds set at -198 on the moneyline, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Philly also has odds set at +2000 to win Super Bowl 57.
