Doug Pederson Offers Mysterious Update on Job Status

The Philadelphia Eagles had a poor showing on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks, being easily dispatched 23-17, and the game wasn't as close as the score indicates. All eyes are on head coach Doug Pederson and his job status after the team has struggled this season.
Following his team's loss, Pederson offered a mysterious update regarding his job security with the team.

This seems like a familiar case where a head coach says something, but it's really nothing. There's no real substance to Pederson's quote, although it's intriguing that the championship-winning coach doesn't exactly know where he stands with management.
Pederson's Eagles are 3-7-1 this season, finding themselves in third place in a truly bad NFC East. The team currently owns a three-game losing streak and little solutions seem apparent. Pederson remains committed to starting QB Carson Wentz, although the head coach has indicated he may be willing to make a change. This indecision by Pederson serves as a distraction to a team that needs to figure out its problems, rather than prolong them.
Philadelphia hasn't been able to replicate its magical 2017 season. Pederson has shown he can lead a team to the top, but perhaps the Eagles would be better off pursuing a change at head coach in order to become a contender once again.
