Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison Injury Update Continues to Boost Mike Boone Fantasy Outlook for Week 17
By Zach Brunner

The top two running backs for the Minnesota Vikings are both dealing with injuries. Dalvin Cook has been battling a shoulder injury for a while, and Alexander Mattison has an injured ankle. These injuries kept both running backs out last week against the Green Bay Packers, but a positive injury update for both players should have Vikings fans optimistic for the playoffs.

Both Cook and Mattison were labeled as limited participants for Wednesday’s walk-through practice. This is a positive update, as neither back was able to practice at all in Week 16
This positive injury update should leave Vikings fans optimistic about both players being read for their playoff game in two weeks. However, it would not be surprising to see the team hold both players out for their Week 17 game against the Bears, as the Vikings are locked in as the six seed in the NFC.
This means that, once again, Mike Boone is in line to serve as the team's starting RB to close out the regular season.
