As we get further away from Tom Brady's return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, more and more rumors pop up around an "ingenious" plan that would have landed Brady with the Miami Dolphins.
Dolphins general manager Chris Grier spoke at a team press conference on Wednesday, and suspiciously dodged the first question surrounding these rumors.

He kept his response simple, saying "he appreciates the question but will focus on the draft," according to Dolphins insider Cameron Wolfe.
For those unfamiliar with the rumored plan, it goes like this.
Supposedly, Brady was supposed to come out of retirement to work with the Dolphins and not return to Tampa Bay. The rumors suggest Brady would have been named a minority owner of the team, and potentially suit up to play quarterback. He also would have, allegedly, brought Sean Payton over as the head coach.
This would have required a massive deal from both sides, and reports suggest the Dolphins-Brian Flores law suit put a final halt to these plans.
Brady being linked to the Dolphins doesn't come as a complete shock. Brady holds strong ties to Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, as the two both attended the University of Michigan.
