The Cleveland Browns have built a reputation for running the ball down opponent's throats with a powerful backfield duo. With starting running back Nick Chubb already out, the team will rely on Kareem Hunt to carry the load in Week 6. However, he also isn't fully healthy heading into this one.

Hunt is dealing with wrist and knee injuries that will force him to be on a limited touch count against the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Kevin Stefanski has been adamant about not wanting to overwork the fifth-year back in order to keep him healthy throughout the rest of the 2021 season.

Kareem Hunt Injury Update

Hunt is still in line to see the bulk of the work on Sunday, but it's possible the Browns work some more passing plays than usual into the mix. Backups Demetric Felton and D'Ernest Johnson could see some touches as well on an offense that ranks No. 2 in the NFL with a 52.6% rushing play percentage.

The Pro Bowler has picked up right where he left off last season by racking up 444 total yards on 72 touches (6.2 average) through five games played. Hunt is averaging a career-high 5.4 yards per carry and now faces a Cardinals' defense that is giving up 139.0 rushing yards per game (No. 29 in the NFL).

Cleveland heads into Sunday's matchup against Arizona as 3-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
