The Washington Football Team is coming off of a gutsy 23-17 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, ending the Steelers' undefeated season. Quarterback Alex Smith was seen bleeding through his sock in the first half after getting scraped by a cleat, but he powered through the injury.

Smith went into disgusting details about the injury after the win.

The injury likely looked worse than it actually was, but it still isn't something anyone would want to deal with.

Then again, Smith has dealt with worse. He suffered a career-threatening leg injury in 2018 and spent the entire 2019 season recovering from complications that arose with it.

It's miracle for Smith to even be on the field, let alone leading his team to wins. The veteran earned his first win as a starter in over two years against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11.

Washington has won each of its last three games and is now tied with the New York Giants for first in the NFC East. They will face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14. The 49ers are 4-point favorites in that matchup, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
