This year's AFC Championship matchup is set, with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, January 24.

There's some drama ahead of this game, as Patrick Mahomes' injury status clouds the outlook of the entire matchup. Despite the Mahomes concerns, FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chiefs as 3-point favorites.

Both of these teams lean heavily on their elite passing attacks. Both teams rank top-five in the NFL in points per game, and they finished the regular season ranked first (KC) and third (Buffalo) in passing yards.

When they met in Week 6, however, both teams favored the rushing game more than usual thanks to some poor weather.

Despite more rough weather conditions in the forecast in Kansas City, the betting markets seem to be expecting this one to be a more wide-open contest, and the over/under sits at 54 points. That total is 11 points higher than the 43 they combined for in Week 6.

With both Mahomes' injury and the KC weather having the potential to influence this matchup, expect the betting lines to fluctuate as more news rolls in through the week.
