Aaron Jones is coming off of an MCL sprain he picked up in Week 10. Jones returned to practice this week, which gives him a shot to suit up on Sunday.
The latest update on Jones doesn't provide much clarity on where his playing status is leaning for Week 12.
Aaron Jones Fantasy Outlook
Jones will likely be a game-time decision for Sunday's contest. The good news is that he hasn't been ruled out, but the possibility he does suit up means fantasy managers will have to pay close attention to his status.
Should Jones suit up, he'd be a no-doubt starter. He's currently the RB9 in PPR scoring despite missing Week 11 and has averaged 17.0 opportunities (12.3 rushes plus 4.7 targets) per game this season along with 7 totals TDs.
AJ Dillon Fantasy Outlook
If Jones is sidelined, AJ Dillon would operate as Green Bay's lead back once again. Dillon recorded 17 touches (11 rushes plus 6 catches) in Week 11 and 97 yards from scrimmage.
Whoever gets the start will face a Los Angeles Rams defense that ranks in the middle of the pack with 22.79 PPR points allowed per game to RBs this season. The potential workload and less-than-intimidating matchup make either back worth starting if they're the Packers' RB1.
Fantasy managers will hope to have an early update on Sunday, however, as the 4:25 p.m. EST kickoff for this game means Jones' status may not be known until after the 1 p.m. games start. Be sure to have a contingency plan in place if you're hoping to rely on either Packers RB.
