The San Francisco 49ers' improbably postseason run continues with a 13-10 Divisional Round upset over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. Now, they'll move on to a collision against the rival Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game.

Unfortunately, tickets for conference championship games can be hard to come by — especially for visiting fans. That's why a pair of 49ers legends have teamed up to ensure that tickets are available for San Francisco's fanbase.

NFC Championship Tickets

To limit the number of 49ers fans in attendance at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, the Rams told their fans that NFC Championship tickets would be limited to residents of Los Angeles with credit card billing addresses in the city.

That announcement prompted former 49ers offensive tackle Joe Staley to send a tweet out to all Rams fans, saying that he's willing to buy their tickets so that San Francisco fans could go to the NFC Championship Game.

It didn't take much longer for former running back Frank Gore to get in on the idea, saying that "Joe and I are ready to buy all of your tickets!" If both San Francisco greats come through with their plan, there's no doubt that they'd be even more popular among 49ers fans than they already are.

The 49ers were 2-0 against the Rams this season, so Los Angeles is looking for its first win against San Francisco since Dec. 30, 2018. That streak is projected to end, with FanDuel Sportsbook listing the Rams as the 3-point home favorites over the 49ers.

The 2021-22 NFC Championship Game will take place on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. EST at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
