3 Most Likely Teams to Beat the Chiefs in the NFL Playoffs

The Kansas City Chiefs own the best record in the NFL at 14-2, and they're coming in to the postseason looking to defend their Super Bowl victory from a year ago. All of the other AFC teams playing in the Wild Card round are focused on winning their games this weekend, but they're surely looking ahead and already scheming on how to stop the mighty Chiefs.
Kansas City isn't perfect, though, and some teams could pose serious problems for them in the playoffs. With that mind, here are the three most likely AFC teams to beat the Chiefs.
3. Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are the one of the league's hottest teams, coming into the postseason winners of their last five games. Lamar Jackson is rounding back into MVP form, totaling 15 touchdowns (11 passing, 4 rushing) in the last five weeks. The Ravens' defense, ranked No. 9 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric, has held its opponents under 20 points in five of their last six games. Any team that starts to peak entering the playoffs is dangerous, and the AFC should not treat Baltimore lightly.
2. Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans come rushing into the playoffs on the backs Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill. Henry has bullied opposing defenses all year, capturing the league's rushing title with 2,027 yards and 17 TDs. Tannehill, meanwhile, is enjoying one of his most productive seasons ever, totaling 3,819 passing yards and a career-best 33 TDs. Kansas City is just outside the top 10 in fewest opponent points per game, but the Titans' deadly offense -- which ranks third in total yards and fourth in points -- should absolutely be able to keep up with MVP contender Patrick Mahomes and company.
1. Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills pose the biggest threat to the Chiefs with weapons on both sides of the ball. Buffalo's defense, which ranks No. 12 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric, could stymie the Chiefs just enough to make this a contested matchup. Furthermore, the Bills have an offense (second in total yards, second in points) that can go toe-to-toe with Kansas City (first in total yards, sixth in points). Josh Allen has become one of the best QBs in the league, and the Bills have enough options around him to give the Chiefs trouble. Entering the playoffs on a six-game winning streak, Buffalo is a team to fear.
