The NFL season is coming to an end, with the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers meeting in Super Bowl LIV. This championship matchup is as close as it gets, with the Chiefs favored by just 1.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook.

If you're looking for an alternative way to wager on this one, here are three of the best prop bets for San Francisco 49ers players in the 2020 Super Bowl.

1. Jimmy Garoppolo - Passing Yards: Over 242.5 (-112)

Much has been made about how incredibly run-heavy the 49ers have been in the postseason, and for good reason — Jimmy Garoppolo has just 27 combined pass attempts in his last two games. These were both one-sided games, though, which will always lend itself to a more run-heavy approach. Garoppolo has averaged 25.7 attempts and 208.8 yards per game in contests decided by at least seven points in this year. In seven games decided by less than a touchdown, those averages jump to 31.4 attempts and 269.9 yards — a mark that would clear this over by a significant margin.

2. George Kittle - Receiving Yards: Over 71.5 (-108)

Tying into Garoppolo likely throwing more in this one, the 49ers pass-catchers could also get a boost. George Kittle had fewer than 20 receiving yards in both playoff games, but before that he averaged 75.2 yards per game in the regular season, despite being banged up in a couple as well. Kittle has averaged 8.6 targets per game in contests decided by seven points or fewer, compared to 6.7 per game decided by more. For a guy averaging a career 9.6 yards per target, that kind of volume should translate to a big yardage total.

3. Any Time Touchdown Scorer: Deebo Samuel (+165)

Another thing more pass-heavy about the 49ers than their recent reputation might suggest is their play-calling near the goal line. The NFL's average pass-to-run ratio on snaps from inside the 10-yard line this season (including playoffs) is 1.15-to-1. The 49ers are above that, at 1.25-to-1. Deebo Samuel is tied for fourth in the NFL with 15 targets in that range, giving him one more than Kittle. That comes despite the fact that Samuel was just a part-time player in the 49ers offense for most of the first half of the season. He's been their most-targeted player in the postseason, and if they get down into scoring range, look for Samuel to get plenty of cracks at finding the end zone.
