2022 Women's US Open Odds: Iga Swiatek Favored over Simona Halep on FanDuel Sportsbook

Grand Slam season is almost over with the 2022 US Open set to get underway on Monday. Ashleigh Barty's retirement in March shocked the world of women's tennis, but it hasn't taken long for new stars to emerge. Those stars can be found up and down the odds to take home the title in New York.

Iga Switaek is the favorite to win the 2022 US Open at +390 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The 21-year-old has taken over the No. 1 ranking in the sport and is fresh off a French Open title in June. Swiatek will be motivated to make it deep into this tournament for the first time in her career.

The only competitor within striking distance of Swiatek in the odds is Simona Halep (+800). The two-time Grand Slam champ has been enjoying a resurgence since joining coach Patrick Mouratoglue. Halep has an 82% win rate in hard-court matches this season, proving she shouldn't be overlooked.
