Wells Fargo Championship Picks & Predictions

Rory Mcllroy heads into this tournament as a heavy favorite by his +750 odds. Only one other golfer owns odds better than +2000 in Corey Conners, who is an early +1900 pick. Considering the lack of bang for your buck here, we'll take another name to win the event. Bettors can get Matthew Fitzpatrick at +2100 to win the tournament, and he's one of the better drivers off the green in this field. The course features seven par-4's over 450 yards. Fitzpatrick doesn't wow you with mammoth drives, but he ranks fifth on tour this season in strokes gained: tee-to-green, and top-30 in strokes gained: off-the-tee. Fitzpatrick has four top-10 finishes this season and could sneak home a win against a somewhat limited field.

Bet Fitzpatrick to win.
