The 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games are in full swing and sports fans will be able to put in wagers on a number of different events on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Men's weightlifting remains one of the most intense Gold Medal events since it was included in the first Olympic Games back in 1896. Athletes push themselves to the limits every year by attempting a maximum-weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates.

Shi Zhiyong of China is heavily favored to take home the gold in this event with odds set at -900, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The 27-year-old earned a Gold Medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and has set a total of 10 weightlifting world records in this class.

Venezuela's Julio Mayora and Bulgaria's Bozhidar Andreev come in tied for a distant second with odds set at +1100.
