It's official, the Toronto Raptors are the 2018-19 NBA champions. After defeating the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, the city of Toronto, and Drake, can finally celebrate their first NBA title.

For everyone else, however, it's time to start thinking about who will hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy next year. Especially considering the Raptors' odds of repeating as champions, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, are already behind those of another familiar Eastern Conference foe.

The Milwaukee Bucks (+480) have opened as the favorites to win the 2020 NBA Finals next summer, with Golden State and Toronto right behind them tied at +600 odds. However, offseason rumors have also made things interesting for certain teams that were outside of the championship fold this year.

The Los Angeles Lakers are tied for the fourth-best odds to win (+850), despite not making the playoffs this year. The Los Angeles Clippers (+1600) and Brooklyn Nets (+2400) are now both in the top 10 as well, even though neither team won a playoff series this year. The New York Knicks, who finished with the worst regular-season record in the league, are also right behind those two at +2500.

With pending free agents, incoming rookies, and possible trade rumors all on the table, a couple of big moves from any of these teams could reflect some huge changes in the initial odds come October.

While the Raptors, Warriors and Bucks all deserve to be atop the list of betting odds, teams like the Clippers, Knicks and Nets could get strong consideration from some bettors as free agency unfolds.
