3 WNBA Prop Bets to Target for Wednesday 6/19/24

The WNBA season is rolling along, and FanDuel Sportsbook's WNBA odds offer a slew of ways to get in on the action via point spreads, totals, moneylines and player props.

In this article, we'll focus on the day's top prop bets. Let's dig in.

All WNBA odds are from FanDuel Sportsbook, and lines are subject to change after this article is published.

WNBA Prop Bets

Ariel Atkins Over 23.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-102)

Ariel Atkins and the Mystics will face the Fever's league-worst defense in Indiana on Wednesday to kick off a three-game slate.

Atkins should be in line to produce across the board.

Washington has had a pretty tough schedule (third-toughest by Basketball-Reference's SOS rating), and that's especially true for games against weak defenses.

Washington has played just four games against teams sixth or worse in defensive rating -- and just one against teams outside the top eight.

Atkins, in those four games, has averaged 25.5 points, rebounds, and assists (PRA) across 30.7 minutes per game. That includes a 27.0 PRA output against the Fever in their first matchup on the back of a 16-point, 6-rebound, 5-assist line on 21 shot attempts and 8 three-point attempts.

In six games against tougher defenses, Atkins is averaging only 21.2 PRA.

Atkins also is on the upswing overall in this department with an average of 27.8 PRA over the last four games, three of which were against top-half defenses.

Aliyah Boston Over 20.5 Points and Rebounds (-108)

Boston and the Fever are also in play on the other side of that game against the Mystics, who rank eighth in rebounding rate (48.8%) in the WNBA over the last 10 games and 11th (47.6%) on the full season.

Boston has played three below-average rebounding teams so far this season and has averaged 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds (24.7 combined PR) in those contests, though her individual tallies have been 18, 16, and 40.

The scoring just wasn't there in the first two games in this split despite solid shot volume of 14 and 9 field goal attempts.

Scoring should be easier against Washington, who is allowing a 76.0% FG% on shots from within three feet of the rim, easily the highest rate in the WNBA and well above the league-average of 64.9%.

Monitor the injury report and line for the potential return of Temi Fagbenle here. Boston's minutes are up without Fagbenle.

Sylar Diggins-Smith 2+ Made Threes (+140)

The Storm travel to face the Aces for Wednesday's nightcap, and the Aces set up as a three-point-friendly defense.

Las Vegas is allowing 25.0 three-point attempts per game, second-most in the WNBA. By shot distribution, they're also second-worst in three-point attempt rate (36.0%)

Seattle doesn't shoot many threes, but we do see an elevated attempt rate for Diggins-Smith in games against teams that allow threes.

In three matchups this season with the Mercury and Aces (the two teams allowing the most threes), Diggins-Smith has averaged 5.3 attempts and 1.7 makes, including a 2-for-6 night against Vegas on June 7th. She's made two threes in two of the three games.

In 11 games against all other opponents, Diggins-Smith is averaging 1.0 makes but just 3.3 attempts.

Diggins-Smith is also on a nine-game streak with at least one made three and has made two-plus threes in two straight and in six of the last nine games.
