NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Best Bets: Clean Harbors 250

If you look at FanDuel Sportsbook's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series betting odds for Richmond, they're nearly an exact mirror of the results a few weeks ago at IRP.

Ty Majeski was the clear fastest truck and won; he's the favorite at +165.

Christian Eckes in second? He's +300.

This makes sense, given both IRP and Richmond are short, flat tracks with tons of tire falloff. But I do think it goes a bit too far in pumping up Majeski based on one race.

Below are how my sims see things playing out prior to practice and qualifying. And as you can see, I'm much more bullish on Eckes.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Betting Picks for Richmond

• Christian Eckes (+300): Although Majeski won IRP, Eckes has had more consistent speed on the short tracks, winning both Bristol and Martinsville this year in addition to last year's Phoenix Championship Race. My model has him at 30.9% to win, up from 25.0% implied.
• Tyler Ankrum (+3000): Eckes' teammate, Ankrum finished fourth at IRP with a seventh-place average running position. He was also top-five in both Bristol and Martinsville. He's a good chunk above his implied odds, sitting at 5.6% to win for me versus 3.2% in the market.
• Nick Sanchez (+2800): Of the three, I'm least bullish on Sanchez. He is, though, a full percentage point above his implied odds (4.4% versus 3.4%), and his sixth-place average running position at Martinsville shows he can handle a short, flat track.
