FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks and Helper: Sunday 11/19/23

Since NBA DFS is easier to predict than baseball or football, it would likely get plenty of votes as the best sport to play on FanDuel. Basketball players usually stick to the same minutes and produce at roughly the same rate. Sounds easy, right? Trust me -- it's not!
As a result, NBA daily fantasy is highly reliant on a player's opportunity, so you'll need to ensure that you're up to date with key injuries. numberFire's projections update up until tip-off to reflect current news. numberFire also has player news updates, and the FanDuel Scout app will send push notifications for pressing updates regarding your players.
In addition to daily projections, numberFire also offers a matchup heat map and a lineup optimizer to help give you an edge.
Here at FanDuel Research, we'll also come at you each day with this NBA DFS primer, which breaks down a few of the day's top plays at each position.
Let's dive into today's main slate on FanDuel.
Guards
Luka Doncic ($11,800): Despite scoring 56.3 FanDuel points in his last appearance, Doncic's salary has moved down to his lowest point this month against a Sacramento Kings' team ranked fourth in fantasy points (44.1) per game to his position. Despite his difficult matchup, the Mavericks' superstar still ranks second overall with 54.3 expected FanDuel points.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($11,000): Since November 6th, the 25-year old has been on fire, averaging 33.2 real-life points and 58.4 FanDuel points per game while his salary has not moved despite his impressive production. In a matchup versus a Portland Trail Blazers' defense allowing 46.0 FanDuel points per game to point guards, Gilgeous-Alexander stands fourth overall with a 47.7 fantasy projection.
De'Aaron Fox ($9,800): Even at his highest salary this season after a 5.3% jump, Fox ranks third among guards with a 42.9 fantasy projection against a Dallas Mavericks' unit allowing 49.1 FanDuel points per game to his position. In his three games, Fox has displayed efficient production since his return on November 13th, recording 1.39 FanDuel point per minute with a 31.3% usage rate.
Desmond Bane ($8,700): After a 2.2% drop to his second lowest salary point this month, Bane is fifth among guards with a 40.2 fantasy projection against a tough Boston Celtics' team ranked second in defensive rating. In 275 minutes this month, Bane ranks first among his team in fantasy production (1.22 FanDuel points per minute) and second in usage (29.8%).
Kyrie Irving ($8,500): Despite scoring a season-high 53.8 FanDuel points on Saturday, Irving's salary has remained at his lowest point in November versus a Sacramento defense ranked first in fantasy points (37.2) allowed per game to his position. Irving currently ranks seventh among guards in value with a 4.94 rating and 42.0 fantasy projection.
Darius Garland ($7,700): After Donovan Mitchell was ruled out, Garland should see a lead offensive role against a Denver Nuggets' team ranked sixth in defensive rating, accounting for 0.97 FanDuel points per minute and a team-high 35.2% usage rate in this split.
Jrue Holiday ($6,700): If Jaylen Brown were to sit after he was listed as questionable, Holiday has displayed increased production in this split, accounting for a 26.3% usage rate and 1.07 FanDuel points per minute.

Keyonte George ($5,300): Utah's rookie is ranked fourth in value among guards with a 4.99 rating and a 26.4 fantasy projection after George averaged 0.95 FanDuel points per minute since his promotion to the Jazz's starting lineup.

Despite some inconsistent performances this month, the Lakers' big man is averaging 1.36 FanDuel points and a 24.2% usage rate during this time period.
Domantas Sabonis ($10,300): Since November 8th, Sabonis has been on fire, averaging 1.50 FanDuel points per minute and 56.3 FanDuel points per game while his salary has increased by 6.1%.
Jayson Tatum ($10,200): After a 4.6% decrease, Tatum has an ideal spot to provide enormous value against a Memphis defense ranked 18th in defensive rating at his second lowest salary point this month. If Jaylen Brown is ruled out, Tatum's production is boosted to 1.35 FanDuel points per minute with a 36.4% usage rate.
Kevin Durant ($10,100): The Suns' forward has played well this month, averaging 32.5 real-life points and 51.5 FanDuel points per game.
