3 WNBA Prop Bets to Target for Friday 6/7/24

The WNBA season is rolling along, and FanDuel Sportsbook's WNBA odds offer a slew of ways to get in on the action via point spreads, totals, moneylines and player props.

In this article, we'll focus on the day's top prop bets. Let's dig in.

All WNBA odds are from FanDuel Sportsbook, and lines are subject to change after this article is published.

WNBA Prop Bets

Caitlin Clark Over 18.5 Points (-113)

Caitlin Clark is coming off the worst game of her rookie season, scoring just three points and leaving the game injured.

Well, the good news for Clark and the Indiana Fever is that after a busy first month, they had some time to settle down this week and regroup. That's why I like the 2024 top pick to score Over 18.5 Points (-113) tonight.

The Fever's guard is a scorer. That's what she did in college and has shown flashes of in the pros thus far. Through her first 11 games, she's managed to score 20-plus points five times. Clark's struggles have been discussed ad nauseum, but she finally has a matchup that will allow her to succeed.

Indiana will be facing the Washington Mystics tonight, pitting the bottom two teams in the league against each other. The Mystics sit at 0-10 on the season and have had no answers for any of their opponents. Washington is allowing 82.5 points per game to their opponents. The Fever have been worse, allowing the most points per game in the league (90.5). It's that number that makes Clark hitting the over all the more enticing as she will need to lead the Fever in scoring to help them earn a victory.

Without Shakira Austin and Brittney Sykes in their lineup, this should be a night that the Fever dominate the game from start to finish with Clark leading the way.

It's time for a bounce-back performance for the guard.

A'ja Wilson Over 11.5 Rebounds (-122)

What can't A'ja Wilson do at this stage? The Las Vegas Aces have been led by their two-time MVP, and she's not slowing down anytime soon.

Wilson is averaging 27.9 points and 12.4 rebounds after seven games, performing like the best player in the world.

The matchup tonight will be between the Aces and the Seattle Storm, making for one of the best games of the year in the early season. After losing three of their first four, the Storm have won five straight and are living up to the expectations they had in the offseason. Las Vegas is 3-2 over their last five, so this game is no sure bet in terms of who will walk out with the win.

Add in that the Storm, unlike most teams, have a good duo inside to try and slow down Wilson, which is why I'm leaning to her recording Over 11.5 Rebounds (-122) rather than her scoring another high total.

Wilson has had 12-plus rebounds in five of seven games -- making her a good bet to do it once again tonight against the Storm. Now, Seattle is the top rebound team in basketball (38.0 rebounds per game), but Wilson leads the league in rebounds per game. Don't bet against her in the big-time matchup.

The Aces' star will need to shine once again tonight to get her team in the win column.

Arike Ogunbowale to Score 25+ Points (-128)

There's no better pure scorer in the WNBA right now than Arike Ogunbowale. With the Dallas Wings taking on the struggling Los Angeles Sparks tonight, I love Ogunbowale to Score 25+ Points (-128) in the contest.

The Wings' star guard has done nothing but score this season. She currently ranks second behind A'ja Wilson in points per game with a 27.1 clip -- almost five more points than the next best player. When you're in a conversation with Wilson, it's an accomplishment. In eight games this season, she's scored 25 or more points on four different occasions. She also has a 24-point game in there. I expect her to follow up her 31-point outing on Wednesday against a Sparks team that isn't stopping their opposition.

Los Angeles is allowing the fourth-most points to opponents (83.2). In what many consider a rebuilding year for the Sparks, I don't see that changing, either. The Sparks are allowing the third-most threes per game (8.7) -- something that Ogunbowale should also be able take advantage of.

When she played against the Sparks earlier this year, Ogunbowale shot a surprising 0-8 from beyond the arc. I don't expect her to go 0-for again, especially given a 34.3% percentage from deep this season.

Dallas is in a good spot to win tonight with Ogunbowale leading the way.
