The 2019-20 NBA season is just weeks away, with plenty of excitement following one of the most busy offseasons in recent memory. With so many superstar players switching teams (and others missing the year due to injury) the odds for this season's NBA Championship have received a major shakeup from last year.

On the heels of signing Kawhi Leonard and adding Paul George via trade, the Los Angeles Clippers are the preseason favorite to win the 2019-20 NBA title at +330, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

After making the playoffs as a feisty eighth seed last season, the Clips are now considered the elites of a loaded Western Conference, although the early season health and availability of George (offseason shoulder surgeries) is currently in serious question. In a recent interview, George indicated he expected to miss at least all of October.

Following the Clippers are their Staples Center co-tenants in the Los Angeles Lakers (+440). The league's most popular franchise also made a major offseason move, trading away several young players (Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart) and three first round picks for Anthony Davis, who will now be paired with LeBron James.

The Milwaukee Bucks are favored to emerge from the Eastern Conference and are +600 to become champs. The Bucks fell to the Toronto Raptors in last season's Eastern Conference Finals, but are now the odds-on favorite to come out of the East after Toronto was unable to re-sign the reigning NBA Finals MVP Leonard in free agency.

The Philadelphia 76ers (+750) and Houston Rockets (+950) round out the top five in NBA Finals hopefuls. Both teams also experienced major shakeups, as the Sixers added Al Horford and Josh Richardson (losing Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick), while the Rockets swapped Chris Paul for Russell Westbrook.
