3 NFL Player Prop Bets for Monday Night Football: Week 10, Broncos at Bills

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy football on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.
Utilizing numberFire's projections as a guide, here are some NFL player props bets that look appealing.
Please note that betting lines and numberFire's game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published. Also, the weather may be an issue in some locations.
Gabe Davis Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-110)/
Gabe Davis Longest Reception Over 18.5 Yards (-114)
The Buffalo Bills host the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football to close out Week 10, so let's jump into some player props.
The home Bills are favored by 7.0 points along with a 47.5-point over/under indicates we should see some decent scoring tonight. We want our player props to reflect that so let's turn to a pair of props from Bills' receiver, Gabriel Davis.
We've seen some up-and-down production from Davis this season but he's still being targeted at a good rate and he gets downfield. On the season, Davis has a team-high 13.6 average depth of target (aDOT), along with a 16.1% target share, 26.3% air yards share, while playing on 87.2% of the snaps, and running a route on 89.0% of dropbacks.
The aDOT leads the team and the rest of those are the second-highest on the Bills, behind only Stefon Diggs. Davis is the clear number two option for Josh Allen, who continues to target him downfield.
Davis has been over this 18.5 longest reception mark in five of his nine games this season, crossing it easily with receptions of 26, 29, 34, 35, and 40.
When it comes to the Broncos' defense, they have allowed a long reception of over 18.5 yards in all eight of their games this season. They continue to struggle versus the pass this year and it presents a great opportunity for Davis.
It's also good to see that numberFire's projections have Davis going for 51.82 receiving yards tonight, putting him over his prop total.
Samaje Perine Over 13.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The Broncos' backfield is a bit jumbled but Samaje Perine plays a clear role.
That role is one of a pass-catcher and not one of a rushing option. Among the three options in their backfield, Perine has the fewest (27) rushing attempts this season but the most targets (26), receptions (22), and receiving yards (231).
If he's on the field, it's to catch the ball, not run it -- simple as that.
With the Broncos sitting at 7.0-point underdogs, they could be pushed into a passing game script, which will only benefit Perine.
When it comes to the Bills' defense, they sit in the top half of the league for the fewest rushing yards (795) allowed to running backs this season. However, they have allowed the fourth-most (420) receiving yards to running backs this season.
Perine continues to run more routes on dropbacks (38.0%) and has a higher target share (12.3%) compared to Javonte Williams (26.5% and 12.0%), whether we look at the entire season or over their last three games since Williams returned from a quad injury.
Perine's role is clear and should lead to him piling up yards in the air to cash the over on this prop.
