A career journeyman, Josh McCown became a pretty serviceable NFL quarterback. He made 76 career starts playing for a grand total of eight franchises. McCown also had four seasons with more than 2,000 passing yards.
While his career had plenty of highlights, this play is certainly not that. In fact, it's probably a moment McCown would like to forget.
While trying to find pay dirt on third down, McCown tries to leap across the goal line, but is met in mid air and sent flying. Of course, he loses the ball, but given the nature of the play, it's hard to blame him much there.
McCown was knocked out of the game with a concussion, and Johnny Manziel came on in relief. The New York Jets would ultimately go on to win, 31-10, but McCown's attempted John Elway impression will forever remain an iconic NFL play.
