The Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back situation was always tough to get a feel for. Despite that, though, one thing was clear: whoever emerged with the job could become a real asset for fantasy football.

Unfortunately, that task just got a lot more difficult, as the Buccaneers have signed LeSean McCoy, which really muddles the value of both Ronald Jones and Ke'Shawn Vaughn.

This creates a three-headed monster that could prove really troubling for fantasy football owners. It's still possible for one of McCoy, Jones and Vaughn to emerge with the lion's share of the touches, but the addition of a third back certainly decreases the chance of that happening. It's particularly devastating for Ronald Jones, who was one of our favorite sleepers at RB this year.

Unless something changes, this is looking like a backfield to avoid in fantasy football drafts. The RB1 role in Tampa Bay still carries major upside, but it'll be tough to know which, if any, of the backs are worth trusting on a week-to-week basis.
