Houston Astros at Philadelphia Phillies NRFI (-130)

There is a lot of offensive talent in this game, but a starting pitching matchup of Hunter Brown and Cristopher Sánchez gives me confidence in a NRFI.

Sánchez has been one of baseball's best starters in 2026. The Philadelphia Phillies‘ lefty owns a 2.58 ERA and 1.20 WHIP through 181 1/3 innings while racking up 207 strikeouts. His combination of swing-and-miss ability and control gives him a strong chance of navigating the top of the Houston Astros‘ order without damage.

Brown hasn't accumulated as many innings, but he's been effective when healthy. The Astros’ right-hander enters Wednesday with a 3.31 ERA and 93 strikeouts across 87 innings.

Brown has pitched to a 2.25 ERA in the first inning this season, so his overall numbers have carried over nicely to the opening frame. Sánchez has experienced a little more first-inning volatility, but his elite overall profile still makes this a pairing I'm willing to trust.

With two starters capable of generating strikeouts, I'll take my chances on a scoreless opening frame despite the quality of the two offenses.

Home Run Prediction: Matt Olson (+340)

Rays at Braves, 7:16 p.m. ET

This is my favorite HR play of the day. Matt Olson has 37 home runs in 145 games this season and has posted a career-best 48.0% fly-ball rate.

Olson gets Griffin Jax, who enters Wednesday with a 3.82 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 2026. Jax is hardly a pushover, but he’s a righty and these odds are attractive enough that I’m willing to take the matchup because Olson has been one of the more consistent power bats in baseball in 2026.

Cody Bellinger to Record 1+ RBI (+170)

Rockies vs. Yankees, 7:06 p.m. ET

Cody Bellinger‘s RBI prop is my favorite hitter prop today.

The New York Yankees face Colorado Rockies right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano at Yankee Stadium. Sugano has a 4.87 SIERA and 14.0% strikeout rate. Lefties have mauled him to the tune of a .378 wOBA.

Bellinger has produced particularly well when runners are already on base. He’s got a .318 average, .408 OBP and .600 slugging percentage with men on base this season, including a .282 ISO and 177 wRC+.

He's also hitting in a premium spot in the Yankees' lineup, which gives him a strong opportunity to drive in runs against a Rockies pitching staff that has struggled throughout the season.
