Brian Flores Reveals Bad News on Michael Deiter Injury Update

The Miami Dolphins offense has struggled in 2021, much in part to the disappointing play of the offensive line. Not only has the bad o-line showed up in the box scores, but it led directly to another injury for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Unfortunately, Miami's offensive line took another injury hit this week as starting center Michael Deiter was injured at practice on Wednesday. The third-year pro has been ruled out for Week 4's contest against the Indianapolis Colts and could see time on the IR.

Michael Deiter Injury Update
Head coach Brian Flores did not specify the exact nature of Deiter's injury, only that he will definitely miss Week 4.
It's adding insult to injury for Miami, who has seen a revolving door rotation on the offensive line through three games. The Dolphins rank fourth in the entire league with 10 sacks allowed, while managing only 15.0 points per game, the third-worst mark in the NFL.
During his rookie season in 2019, Deiter started 15 games at left guard before switching over to center this season and beating out offseason signee Matt Skura for the job. Skura has already been released, meaning seven-year veteran Greg Mancz will start at center in Week 4.
The Dolphins enter this Week 4 matchup as 1.5-point home favorites over the Colts on FanDuel Sportsbook.
