Subscribe to our newsletter

The MLB Trade Deadline has come and gone with teams making their final additions ahead of the playoff push.

A playoff push is one thing, winning the World Series is a whole other level.

Here's a look at every team's World Series odds according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

World Series Odds
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds
Atlanta Braves+300
Los Angeles Dodgers+450
Tampa Bay Rays+650
Houston Astros+700
Texas Rangers+800
Baltimore Orioles+1200
Toronto Blue Jays+1700

Let's check out the top five teams, highlighting why they could get it done along with numberFire's percentages on their chances to win the World Series.

1. Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: +300
Record: 68-37

The Atlanta Braves have been the favorites all year long and that hasn't changed with two months to go in the regular season.

Atlanta has the best record in baseball at 68-37. Their offense has been a powerhouse. The Braves currently lead the majors with a .356 wOBA, .226 ISO, and 121 wRC+. Maybe the biggest advantage they've had this season though comes in the form of power as they have a league-leading 203 home runs -- 34 more than second place.

The Braves rank respectively in pitching also with a 3.94 SIERA and 3.98 FIP -- both 7th best -- while their team ERA of 3.84 ranks as the 6th best.

numberFire has the Braves with the highest chances of any MLB team at 22.4%. They're built for the long haul.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: +450
Record: 60-45

No matter where they are in the standings, the Los Angeles Dodgers are always going to be favorites to win the big one.

The Dodgers added reinforcements at the deadline in the form of Enrique Hernandez, Lance Lynn, Joe Kelly, Ryan Yarbrough, and Amed Rosario while missing out on Eduardo Rodriguez, who vetoed a deal to Los Angeles with his no-trade clause. It's not the usual big get we've become used to with the Dodgers, but they were moves to improve nonetheless.

Los Angeles isn't up to par in pitching as they're used to being as they have the 10th-highest ERA in the league at 4.49. Their 4.13 SIERA ranks more in the middle of the league but it's still not the dominance we've seen from the Dodgers in past years.

No fear though for the Dodgers as the offense is still hitting on all cylinders. Los Angeles has a .338 wOBA and 169 home runs, ranking 3rd and 2nd respectively in each category.

numberFire has the Dodgers in third when it comes to title-winning chances at 17.4%. +450 odds signal that even if they aren't the top team they usually are, they're still seen in that respect.

3. Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: +650
Record: 66-44

For so much of the 2023 MLB season, there was no team better than the Tampa Bay Rays. Now they don't even lead their division.

After a historic start to the year that featured a 13-game winning streak to kick it off, there's no doubt that the Rays have what it takes but will need to be healthy if they want to make a deep run and get back to the World Series, let alone win their first in franchise history.

The Rays still have a top-five offense in several different categories including wOBA (.334), HRs (161), and runs (571). Pitching-wise, there's plenty of success there as per usual with Tampa Bay. They have a 3.91 FIP -- best for 4th in the league -- and a 3.88 SIERA -- ranking 5th.

Riding a three-game winning streak, the Rays are seemingly back on track and as long as they are before October, a run can be made.

The Rays have a 19.3% chance of winning the World Series according to numberFire's model.

4. Houston Astros

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: +700
Record: 61-47

The Houston Astros are looking for back-to-back World Series wins and are going all-in to do it yet again.

Houston acquired Justin Verlander from the New York Mets hours before the MLB Trade Deadline. The return of their former ace gives them a rotation to be excited about heading into the final stretch and the playoff run. But first, they have to try to win the AL West.

The Astros sit just a 0.5 game back of the Texas Rangers and should fight with them to get the spot until the end of the season. On the back of a rotation that now pairs Verlander back with the surging Framber Valdez, it shouldn't be out of the question. Houston sits at a 4.04 SIERA on the year (11th) but should only be able to get better as the season comes to a close.

Yordan Alvarez's recent return from injury should help the lineup kick back into top gear soon enough which, if that's the case, should make everyone nervous about the Astros all over again.

numberFire has Houston at a 5.8% chance to win the World Series, 5th among all teams in the majors. The +700 odds show favoring the defending champs even with them trailing in their own division.

5. Texas Rangers

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: +800
Record: 61-46

The Texas Rangers are going for it. They're absolutely going for it.

Texas went out at the deadline to get Max Scherzer, Jordan Montgomery, and Chris Stratton to bolster their pitching staff -- a necessary decision for the Rangers with Nathan Eovaldi getting injured and help needed as is.

Struggles when it comes to the Rangers' pitching include a 4.29 SIERA that is 20th in the majors and a strikeout rate of 21.8% which ranks 22nd.

The Rangers' offense has powered them for the majority of the year. Their .344 wOBA and 120 wRC+ both rank 2nd in the majors, only trailing the Braves. Recent struggles include a 3-7 record in their last 10 games but with the report that Corey Seager and Jonah Heim are ahead of schedule, help is on the way.

Texas has a 6.4% chance to win the World Series, according to numberFire's projections.
