Cavaliers vs. Knicks Game 5 Betting Odds: Moneyline, Spread, Total, and Player Props

The New York Knicks won both games during their homestand over the weekend, taking them to a 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

They’ll travel to Cleveland tonight as they try to ice the series with a fourth victory.

The Knicks were able to triumph over the Cavs in Game 4 without Quentin Grimes (shoulder) in the lineup but could have him back for Game 5. Both teams’ starters are otherwise at full health.

Game 5 tips off at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on NBA TV.

Here’s how the two teams stack up for Wednesday’s game in Cleveland.

Cavaliers vs. Knicks Game 5 Analysis

The Knicks scored a series-high 102 points in their victory over the Cavs in Game 4, led by Brunson with 29 points and Barrett with 26. Josh Hart filled in for Grimes in the starting five, posting 19 points with 7 rebounds and 2 assists in his 39 minutes.

The Cavaliers’ championship odds on numberFire have dropped to 4.7% with their current two-game deficit, but the team will play Games 5 and 6 of the series at home, where they posted a 31-10 record in the regular season (compared to their 20-21 record on the road). They’ll need more from Mitchell, who averaged 28.3 points per game this season, than the 11 points he managed in Game 4.

This series has been a defensive struggle so far. Cleveland’s 94.0 points per game are the second-fewest in the playoffs so far, while New York’s 98.0 points per game rank just ahead of Cleveland as the third-fewest. Fittingly, the 202.5-point over/under for this game is the lowest of any game on Wednesday’s slate by almost 20 points.
