When it comes to the 2021 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins have already been extremely active. They've already traded the No. 3 pick to the San Francisco 49ers to move back to No. 12 and collect more draft capital. They then traded the No. 12 pick to the Philadelphia Eagles to move up to the No. 6 pick.

That's already quite a lot of trading, but ESPN's Mel Kiper predicts that it may not end there. In his latest mock draft he has the Dolphins trading the No. 6 pick and 2022 second- and third-round picks to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for No. 4.

Kiper then has the Dolphins drafting Florida TE Kyle Pitts at No. 4, giving QB Tua Tagovailoa a much-needed weapon.

Across three seasons as a Florida Gator, Pitts turned 100 receptions into 1,492 yards and 18 touchdowns. He's one of the top-ranked pass-catchers in the draft and could become a major presence for the Dolphins in his rookie season.

Mike Gesicki is currently the Dolphins No. 1 tight end after registering 703 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2020. Having Gesicki and Pitts as a tight end duo could be really dangerous, especially with DeVante Parker and Will Fuller lighting it up on the outside.

Meanwhile, Kiper has the Falcons drafting North Dakota State QB Trey Lance at No. 6. The fact of the matter is that Matt Ryan, at 35, isn't getting any younger and Atlanta should start thinking about the future. Lance could fill that role after an impressive showing in 2019.

He threw for 2,786 yards and 28 touchdowns without a single interception. He's also incredibly mobile, rushing for 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns on 169 attempts.

At the end of the day, a trade like this would benefit both sides. The Dolphins could take one step closer to being a contender by giving Tagovailoa another weapon, while the Falcons would be prepared for life after Matt Ryan.
