NFL Prop Bets This Week (Week 9)
Courtland Sutton 40+ Receiving Yards (+110)
Broncos at Panthers — 1:00 p.m. ET
Courtland Sutton has logged 77% of the Denver Broncos’ offensive snaps this season, earning about 16% of the team’s targets and 31% of its air yards. His 221 receiving yards in eight games make this a relatively aggressive alternate line, but he has shown signs of life with 45 and 53 yards in his last two contests. He also saw 81% of the snaps in Week 8.
The matchup with the Carolina Panthers offers some upside — over their last five games, the Panthers have surrendered the 10th-most yards per target to perimeter wide receivers.
Sutton has reached 40 yards in only three of eight games this season, so the appeal here is the plus-money return and the possibility that his recent involvement continues.
Caleb Douglas 40+ Receiving Yards (-122)
Lions at Dolphins — 1:00 p.m. ET
Caleb Douglas has supplied explosive production for the Miami Dolphins in a small sample. Across four appearances, he has 13 catches for 226 yards (17.4 yards per reception) and has exceeded 40 receiving yards three times. His average offensive snap share sits near 83% while his target share is 18.3%. That playing time and downfield role give him multiple paths to 40 yards even without a high reception total.
Douglas has returned from an absence with 70 and 43 yards in his last two outings, and his six targets against New England in Week 8 were his most since the opener. He played 86% of the snaps and commanded a 20% target share in that game.
He has a great matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday as the Lions have given up the sixth-most receiving yards per game to WRs. Plus, with Miami a 7.0-point home ‘dog, they could need to go to the air often to keep pace with Detroit’s offense.
Jadarian Price 50+ Rushing Yards (-136)
Cardinals at Seahawks — 4:25 p.m. ET
Jadarian Price has played four games for the Seattle Seahawks this season, totaling 148 rushing yards on 38 carries. He has reached at least 50 yards in two appearances, including a 13-carry, 52-yard performance against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. That previous meeting is an encouraging reference point for this rematch, though his 3.9 yards per carry means he likely needs a substantial workload to reach the threshold.
Price handled 48% of Seattle’s offensive snaps upon returning off IR in Week 8 and led the backfield with 10 of the team’s 19 rushing attempts, a 52.6% carry share. He also accounted for 14 of the Seahawks’ 26 running-back opportunities when targets are included.
Seattle is an 8.5-point home favorite and will have backup Drew Lock under center — two things that could lead to a run-heavy Seahawks offense.
While Price’s 29 rushing yards against Chicago were underwhelming and Zach Charbonnet remains involved, another game with a leading share of carries gives Price a plausible route to 50-plus rushing yards.
