  • Ole Miss Moneyline (+142)
  • Nate Frazier Anytime Touchdown (-120)

A massive SEC showdown awaits on Saturday, November 7, as No. 2 Georgia travels to Oxford to take on No. 12 Ole Miss.

Both teams are coming off convincing victories, and Saturday night's matchup could have major implications for the SEC championship race and College Football Playoff picture.

Georgia enters as the favorite, but the Rebels have already demonstrated their ability to beat the Bulldogs in recent seasons. Let's break down two of the best Georgia vs. Ole Miss bets.

Georgia enters Saturday's SEC showdown with a 7-1 record, but there's reason to believe Ole Miss can pull off the upset at home.

The Rebels are averaging 37.1 points and 439.6 total yards per game, including 282.1 passing yards per contest. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss gives Ole Miss a dynamic dual-threat weapon, and he was excellent in last week's 45-15 victory over Auburn, throwing for 263 yards and two touchdowns while adding 65 rushing yards and another score.

The biggest concern is a UGA defense surrendering just 14.9 points and 273.4 total yards per game. However, on the other side of the ball, the Bulldogs haven't been quite as dominant offensively against stronger competition, scoring just 20 points against Alabama and 24 against Auburn before managing 27 in last week's victory over Florida.

Home-field advantage could also be significant. Ole Miss has won each of its last two home meetings with Georgia, including a convincing 28-10 victory in 2024. The Rebels also defeated the Bulldogs 39-34 in last season's College Football Playoff quarterfinal.

Georgia deserves to be favored given its outstanding defense, but Ole Miss has the offensive firepower to keep pace and the home-field advantage to make things difficult for the Bulldogs. At +142, the Rebels offer appealing odds in a matchup that could come down to the final possession.

Nate Frazier Anytime Touchdown (-120)

Any Time Touchdown Scorer
Nate Frazier

Georgia running back Nate Frazier has battled injuries this season, but his performance against Florida last weekend suggests he's getting healthier at an opportune time.

Frazier handled a team-high 12 carries for 67 yards and a touchdown against the Gators, marking his largest workload since September 19. He now has six rushing touchdowns in six appearances this season, finding the end zone in four of those contests.

The matchup sets up favorably for Georgia's ground game. Ole Miss is allowing 148.9 rushing yards per game, which ranks 13th in the SEC. Offensively, the Bulldogs are averaging 200.1 rushing yards per contest, the third-highest mark in the conference.

Frazier's opportunities could also benefit from the uncertainty surrounding fellow running back Chauncey Bowens, who has missed Georgia's last three games due to injury. Bowens' potential absence would likely create additional opportunities for Frazier to handle carries near the goal line, although Dwight Phillips Jr. remains part of the backfield rotation.

Georgia has rushed for at least 200 yards in each of its last two games, including 217 against Florida, and Frazier's increased involvement last weekend is encouraging. With six touchdowns on just 47 carries this season and a nice matchup against the Rebels' meh run defense, Frazier is an intriguing candidate to find the end zone again on Saturday.

College Football Betting FAQ

What are the most common college football bets?

The most common college football bets are the point spread, moneyline, and game total. Bettors can also wager on player props, team totals, alternate spreads, and futures such as conference champions or the national championship winner.

How does the point spread work in college football betting?

The point spread gives one team a handicap to create a more even betting market. If a team is listed at -7.5, it must win by at least eight points for a spread bet on that team to cash. A team listed at +7.5 can lose by seven points or fewer — or win outright — and still cover the spread.

What does over/under mean in college football?

An over/under, also called a game total, is a wager on the combined number of points scored by both teams. Bettors can choose whether the final score will finish over or under the sportsbook's posted total.

What should you consider before betting on college football?

Matchups, quarterback play, offensive and defensive efficiency, injuries, pace, home-field advantage, and coaching tendencies can all be important.
