Craig Counsell Reveals Top Prospect Brice Turang's Chances of Making MLB Debut in 2023

Each and every year, all 30 MLB teams head into Spring Training with a clean slate. It's also a rare opportunity for talented young prospects to stake their claims on open roster spots before Opening Day.
One of those players is Milwaukee Brewers infielder Brice Turang. And on Thursday, manager Craig Counsell revealed Turang's chances of making his MLB debut in 2023.

Counsell is clearly a fan of Turang heading into the preseason schedule. He said he's "confident" Turang can debut for the Brewers, according to insider Todd Rosiak.
There's a lot of excitement around the No. 4 prospect in Milwaukee's farm system. Turang tore up Triple-A pitching in 131 games last season. The lefty-swinging 22-year-old slashed .286/.360/.412 with 13 home runs, 78 RBIs and 24 doubles.
Turang has an opportunity to compete for infield reps alongside Luis Urias and Brian Anderson.
Heading into the season, the Brewers have +4000 odds to win the 2023 World Series on FanDuel Sportsbook.
