James Conner's fantasy outlook is on the rise.
James Conner Fantasy Outlook
After a disappointing 2020 NFL season, Conner has found a lot of success with the Cardinals. He's tallied 125 total touches this season for 565 yards from scrimmage and an NFL-leading 11 touchdowns. As a result, he's the RB11 across PPR formats.
Edmonds played 53% of Arizona's snaps, so it's not hard to imagine Conner's workload increasing. The former was seeing 12.5 opportunities per game (8.4 carries and 4.1 targets) and those have to go somewhere.
The Cardinals are expected to get Eno Benjamin involved in the offense while Edmonds is out. The 2020 seventh-round pick did score a touchdown last week.
Conner could see a lot of playing time in Week 10 with the Cardinals being 10.5-point favorites over the Carolina Panthers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
It could still be a tough test for No. 6 with the Panthers giving up just 17.0 fantasy points per game to running backs — the fifth-lowest average across the league.
