Kerry Carpenter Placed on 10-Day Injured List for Hamstring Injury

Kerry Carpenter has been struggling with a hamstring injury since early June. He was listed day-to-day several times before landing on the 10-day injured list. The Tigers anticipate his return in mid-July.

This season, Carpenter has hit .257 with 16 home runs and 32 RBIs in 78 games. Recently, he hit a home run in each of his last two games. His OPS stands at .779, and he has a total of 68 hits from 265 at-bats.
