10 NFL Games You Won't Want to Miss in 2023

The full NFL schedule for 2023 was released on Thursday, and, as always, there are a ton of fun matchups and storylines to look forward to.

Here are 10 of the best games on the docket for this coming campaign.

Lions at Chiefs, Week 1

The season kicks off with a doozie as the reigning champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, host the up-and-coming Detroit Lions. It's a matchup that should lead to a lot of points, and the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook reflect that, with the total at 53.5 points. That's the highest over/under of Week 1 by 4.5 points.

Both of these teams are currently priced as a divisional favorite. KC is -160 to win the AFC West while Detroit is +140 to take the NFC North.

Bills at Jets, Week 1

Week 1 wraps up with Aaron Rodgers making his New York Jets debut in a home clash against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.

In addition to giving us a chance to see Rodgers in a new uniform, this game could prove pivotal in the race for what should be a tight AFC East. The Bills are +130 favorites to win the division while the Jets boast +250 odds.

These will likely be two of the better teams in a loaded AFC and both are expected to make the playoffs, with the Bills priced at -245 to do so and the Jets at -162.

Ravens at Bengals, Week 2

Speaking of important divisional battles, the Baltimore Ravens travel to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 for an AFC North tilt. The Bengals are +125 favorites to win the division, and the Ravens -- at +240 -- aren't too far behind. If the Bengals are going to win their third straight AFC North title, they'll need to take care of business against the Ravens.

These two met up in the Wild Card Round last postseason, and the Ravens nearly pulled the upset despite not having Lamar Jackson.

Both are favored -- Baltimore at -150 and Cincy at -340 -- to return to the playoffs.

Cowboys at 49ers, Week 5

This is another playoff rematch as the San Francisco 49ers ended the Dallas Cowboys' season last year in the Divisional Round.

This matchup will take place on Sunday Night Football, and these two should be among the best teams in the NFL in 2023. The 49ers are the second-favorite in the NFC, priced at +350 to win the conference. The Cowboys are third-favorites at +600.

Each is an overwhelming favorite -- Dallas at -210 and San Fran at -430 -- to make the playoffs.

Bengals at 49ers, Week 8

The Niners host another of the league's elite in Week 8 as the Bengals come to town.

These two squads have made it to their respective conference championship games in each of the past two years, and they're among the Super Bowl favorites for 2023. San Francisco is the fourth-favorite to win it all, priced at +900, while the Bengals are the fifth-favorite at +1000.

This could be a Super Bowl LVIII preview.

Chiefs vs. Dolphins, Week 9

Tyreek Hill gets to face his old team, the Chiefs, in this one, and that's not the only unique thing about this game. The matchup takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, marking the second straight year that the NFL has played a game in Germany.

Bills at Bengals, Week 9

The Bills and Bengals tangle in Week 9 in a rematch of last season's game that was canceled due to Damar Hamlin collapsing on the field. While that storyline will surely dominate the headlines leading into this one, the game is also a rematch from the 2022 playoffs as the Bengals went to Buffalo and knocked out the Bills in the Divisional Round.

Add in how good these two teams are -- both are among the top-five favorites to win it all -- and there are lots of reasons to tune into this Sunday Night showdown.

Chiefs at Eagles, Week 11

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Chiefs in a Super Bowl LVII rematch on Monday Night Football in Week 11 in what promises to be one of the best games of the year. Kansas City edged Philly in a 38-35 thriller last February, and all signs point to this being another fantastic game.

The Eagles (+850) and Chiefs (+600) are the Super Bowl favorites for 2023, and the two quarterbacks -- Patrick Mahomes (+700) and Jalen Hurts (+1200) -- are among the favorites to win the MVP award.

I'm not sure what else you could ask for from a game.

Eagles at Cowboys, Week 14

By just about any measurement, the Cowboys were one of the NFL's better teams in 2022 as they went 12-5 with the league's fifth-best point differential (+125) despite playing in a division with no teams that went under .500. But Dallas' path to a Super Bowl sent them on the road in the playoffs because the 'Boys didn't win said division, finishing two games behind the Eagles.

If Dallas wants an easier path in the playoffs -- read: home games -- they'll need to take down Philly.

This game, which takes place on Sunday night, will be the season's second meeting between the two and could go a long way toward determining who comes out on top in the NFC East.

Chiefs at Bengals, Week 17

The Chiefs and Bengals have played four times over the last two seasons, including a pair of AFC title game matchups, with each winning one conference championship. They'll face off again in Week 17.

If their previous meetings are any indication, we should see plenty of points. They've combined for at least 51 points in three of those past four meetings -- three of which were won by the Bengals.

This contest could be a prelude to another postseason matchup.
