Mike Alstott was never really the type to post gaudy numbers, splitting time between the tailback and fullback spots. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers' bruiser never even had a 1,000-yard rushing season. But when he was at his peak, he was one of the most difficult players to tackle in the league.

Don't take our word for it, though, as this video of Alstott should remind fans just how dangerous he really was.

With the massive shoulder and neck pads he wore, Alstott looked more like a created player in Madden than a fullback. But he played like one too, seemingly running through every defender that was foolish enough to attempt to bring him down.

By his fourth year in the NFL, Alstott had already re-defined the fullback position, handling 242 carries for 949 yards. He was a dangerous receiver too, catching 65 of 81 targets for 557 yards and 3 scores as a rookie.

By the end of his 11-year career, Alstott retired as a six-time Pro Bowler, a three-time first-team All-Pro and a Super Bowl champion. The "A-Train" is one of the greatest fullbacks in NFL history and will forever remain a Buccaneers legend.
