The NFL's season is officially winding down with the official matchup for Super Bowl LVI set between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams. This also leaves 30 other NFL fanbases gearing up solely for April's NFL Draft.
2022 Senior Bowl
The Reese's 2022 Senior Bowl is an important next step in the draft process, giving scouts and representatives from each NFL team an opportunity to assess 110 prospects for the 2022 NFL Draft.
After falling short in the Wild Card Round, the Philadelphia Eagles gear up for a massive upcoming draft, including three picks in the first round. With that in mind, check out three prospects that Eagles fans should pay close attention to at the 2022 Senior Bow.
Eagles NFL Draft
1. Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
Aside from rookie DeVonta Smith, the Eagles' WR depth chart was lacking in a major way this season. Fortunately for Philly fans, this year's draft class is full of talented wideouts, including Jahan Dotson from Penn State. Dotson hauled in 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns on 91 receptions during his senior year, while regularly catching contested balls. He's a big-time deep threat and a potentially scary option lining up opposite of Smith. Dotson will suit up for National Team in this year's Senior Bowl.
2. Arnold Ebiketie, EDGE, Penn State
Redshirt senior EDGE rusher Arnold Ebiketie has already been linked to the Eagles in early mock drafts, and there's good reason why. The Eagles finished with the second-fewest sacks this season, so it's clear that the pass rush needs a boost. Ebiketie led the Nittany Lions with 9.5 sacks and seven quarterback hurries, leading to him being a consensus All-Big Ten selection. He'll suit up for the National Team in this year's Senior Bowl.
3. Calvin Austin III, WR, Memphis
Another WR that Eagles fans should pay close attention to is Calvin Austin III from Memphis. He's playing on the American Team in this year's Senior Bowl and plays a very similar style of play to DeVonta Smith, undersized but an ability to be explosive off the line and a dynamic route-runner. He's not projected as first-round material, but the Eagles could eye him in later rounds to try and find lightning in a bottle. Austin caught 74 balls for 1,149 receiving yards and 8 TDs during his senior campaign at Memphis.
