The first round of the NFL Draft isn't always exciting for fans of teams that are picking near the end of the round. The 2020 NFL Draft class is loaded with talent, however, and there will be some incredible prospects still available toward the end of Day 1.

Things could get especially exciting for Green Bay Packers fans, as the team looks poised to pull the trigger on a wide receiver with the No. 30 pick. According to NFL Draft odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, the Packers are -175 favorites to take a receiver with their first pick. No other position has odds better than +400.

Green Bay Packers Draft Projections

The odds favoring the Packers taking a wide receiver in Round 1 match what the experts are projecting. The question seems to be more about which receiver Green Bay takes, rather than whether they take one.

Looking for a No. 2 option to complement Davante Adams, names like Baylor's Denzel Mims, TCU's Jalen Reagor and even Notre Dame's Chase Claypool are being floated as options.

Considering Adams was the only player on the roster that topped either 500 yards or 50 receptions in 2019, whoever the Packers draft is going to have plenty of opportunity to step in and make an impact right away. Bringing some new blood into the passing game will give Packers fans one more thing to get excited about heading into the 2020 season.
