After months of uncertainty and speculation, the NBA finally announced its plan to salvage the 2020 NBA season since being placed on hold in mid-March amid the COVID-19 global pandemic.

When is the NBA Draft Lottery 2020?

All of the following dates are set under the assumption that the 2020 NBA season resumes on July 31 as planned, according to NBA.com.

The 2020 NBA Draft Lottery has officially been moved back to Tuesday, Aug. 25. This year's NBA Draft Lottery was initially scheduled to take place at the same venue in Chicago, Illinois, on May 19.

When is the NBA Draft 2020?

The 2020 NBA Draft has officially been moved back to Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This year's NBA Draft was initially scheduled to take place at the same venue Thursday, June 25.

When are the NBA Finals 2020?

The updated 2020 NBA Finals start date has yet to be determined, however, the NBA did state that the NBA Finals would end no later than Monday, Oct. 12.

2020-21 NBA Season Start Date

The 2020-21 NBA regular season is set to begin Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, but this projected date is also subject to change if the 2020 NBA season does not return by its tentative July 31 target date.
