Luka Doncic Remains on Top of NBA MVP Odds in Wide Open Race

We're three weeks into the 2020-21 NBA season, and Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo remain the leaders in the latest 2021 NBA MVP odds update.

Doncic has averaged 29.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, 10.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks in nearly 38 minutes per game during the Mavericks' last four wins.

The 21-year-old is the current favorite at +480, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA MVP odds. Antetokounmpo opened as the favorite, but he now trails Doncic slightly at +600 odds.

Kevin Durant (+700) and Steph Curry (+750) are next with both players' odds dropping a little since the season began. Denver Nuggets 7-footer Nikola Jokic (+950) rounds out the top 5. The Serbian star leads the NBA in assists per game (10.5) while averaging a triple-double with 24.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per contest to lead the Nuggets.

LeBron James is now +1100 to win MVP after starting the season at +1500, while fellow LA Lakers superstar Anthony Davis dropped out of the top five this week and is now +1600.
