San Antonio Spurs wing DeMar DeRozan made a case to be an All-Star again this year with his stellar play. DeRozan shouldered the scoring burden in San Antonio, averaging 21.6 points per game. He also elevated his playmaking with a career-high 6.9 assists this season.

The 31-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down on offense in this later part of his career. Here's three teams who could sign DeRozan this summer.

DeMar DeRozan Free Agency

3. Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies aren't ones to make big splashes in free agency. But they obviously need a talented veteran to help his young roster reach its full potential. DeRozan, a four-time All-Star, possesses an elite scoring repertoire and a solid playmaking ability that'd give Memphis a spark. He'd be the dependable option this offense turns to when it needs to make something happen. The Grizzlies ranked right in the middle of the league with 113.3 PPG (No. 15), so they could definitely use an injection of scoring to complement Ja Morant. A wing rotation of DeRozan, Dillon Brooks and Kyle Anderson along with Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jonas Valanciunas in the frontcourt should set the Grizzlies up for success.

2. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are always a threat in free agency. Their talented roster headlined by Luka Doncic is the West's No. 5 seed in the playoffs, yet it's clear they need another top piece to push this team into true contention after some scoring struggles this year. DeRozan would feast in an offense that features Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis stretching the defense, allowing the swingman to do damage near the rim and in the midrange where he's best. While Josh Richardson and Dorian Finney-Smith are fine wing pieces, adding an All-Star to the lineup is what would really elevate this roster. Dallas' late-season run proves this is the time for Mark Cuban to go all in.

1. New York Knicks

There's rumors that DeRozan would like to go back to the Eastern Conference, and the New York Knicks make a ton of sense. They'll be loaded with, potentially, the most cap space in the league this offseason and have a similar scoring need. New York's defense allowed the league's fewest points (104.7 per game) this season, but they also averaged the fifth-fewest points (107.0 per game) on offense. That lack of scoring will hurt the Knicks' chances of coming out of a conference loaded with firepower, so improving that area is crucial. DeRozan's 21.6 PPG this season showcased his scoring touch is alive and well; that mark also would've ranked second on the New York's team this season behind Julius Randle. The swingman is the perfect veteran talent to bolster this rising contender as they look to take the next step.
