Things have certainly been looking up in Cleveland lately. Fresh off the franchise's first postseason win since 1994 with a 48-37 rout over the Pittsburgh Steelers, much of Cleveland's success can be attributed to Baker Mayfield and the third-year QB's efforts.
Mayfield finished Sunday night's Wild Card win over the Steelers with 3 passing touchdowns and 0 interceptions, bringing his second-half-season run without his star wide receiver in Odell Beckham Jr. to an even more impressive mark.
In the six games prior to OBJ's season-ending ACL tear that he suffered on Oct. 25, Mayfield had thrown for 10 TDs and 7 INTs, while averaging just 182.5 yards per game (YPG).

However, in the 11 games since the loss of OBJ, Mayfield has now thrown for an incredible 20 TDs to just 1 interception, while averaging 250.2 YPG over this stretch.
While this, of course, both a noticeable and impressive difference in performance from Mayfield in OBJ's absence, the Browns are going to need all of that excellence and then some if they're going to have a shot at knocking off the defending Super Bowl champs in the Divisional Round.
Cleveland currently sits as a 10-point underdog to Kansas City ahead of Sunday's matchup at Arrowhead Stadium, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
