The Raiders are on the move to Las Vegas, hoping the change of scenery brings a more optimistic future for the franchise. They continue to add talent that fits the Jon Gruden system, with competitions within position groups all over this team.

With nobody's job truly safe in the NFL, there are a number of players competing to win or keep their job on this team. These are the three Raiders players most in danger of losing their starting jobs in the upcoming NFL season.

1. Derek Carr, QB

The relationship between Derek Carr and coach Gruden continues to be a story with the media. Carr has also not performed like the player he was in 2016. With the move to Vegas and the start of something new, this could be a true make-or-break season for Carr. And if he does not play well to start the year, Gruden may give Marcus Mariota a shot sooner rather than later.

2. Tyrell Williams, WR

The Raiders used their first pick on wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, who is expected to be a day one starter alongside Tyrell Williams. However, it's the third-round selection of Bryan Edwards that could push Williams out of the starting lineup. Williams is essentially a big outside receiver who can stretch the field. Edwards is also a big receiver, but he is a better blocker and excels in short-to-intermediate routes, which could be a better complement to the speedy Ruggs.

3. Damarious Randall, SS

This strong safety position is one that is not especially strong for the Raiders, and it could be up for grabs all season long. The team decided to bring in a couple cheap veterans at the position. Damarious Randall is expected to get the first crack at the starting job, after spending the last two seasons at Cleveland after beginning his career as a cornerback for the Green Bay Packers. Jeff Heath also came over from Dallas, after starting 54 games for the Cowboys, including all 13 he was active for last season. Heath has shown a higher football IQ than Randall in the pros, which could lead to him grabbing the starting spot.
